Who is Chuck Hopper?
Located in Princeton NJ, Chuck Hopper has over 30 years of Human Resource & Business experience, from multiple organizations, industries and sectors. He specializes in small businesses (including non-profits). He is well-versed in strategic management, problem solving, process optimization, project management, capacity building, employee communications as well as the full spectrum of HR disciplines (from talent acquisition to employee and leadership development, from performance management to compensation & benefit plan design). Chuck understands that business owners are busy and his overall goal is to reduce the burdens and complexities that surround their workforce while unlocking the power of their human capital. His goal - to allow you to leverage the full potential of your most critical company asset – your people!!!
Chuck's Background
Before starting Hopper Advisory Services, Chuck was the Head of HR at Single Stop (A New York City-based non-profit), a Strategic HR Advisor to several non-profits through The Taproot Foundation, held several HR leadership roles at Covance (a large drug development firm) and Winstar Communications (a telecommunications start up). He also was in managerial and people development roles with Paine Weber, Continental Insurance, Crum & Forster and Prudential . He holds an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Finance and acquired his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University. He also holds a Certified Benefits Professional certificate from World at Work. Lastly, he has taught HR Management courses as an adjunct professor at Mercer County Community College in New Jersey.
A Few Fun Facts
When Chuck is not in the office he is an avid athlete and doting father and husband. He enjoys sports such as volleyball, skiing, softball, racquetball and hiking with his family. He volunteers often (most recently with Habitat for Humanity and Homefront) and continues to coach in-town youth sports, which he has done for over 15 years. His ultimate passion is working to help children and young adults, ideally through sports-related means, to be successful in life.
